🦝 Peak View Elementary PTO Launches Playground Campaign
Building a Place to Play, Grow, and Belong
Peak View Elementary School is excited to announce the launch of the Peak View Elementary PTO Playground Campaign, an ambitious community-funded effort to replace our aging playgrounds and create safer, more welcoming outdoor spaces for our students.
For 25 years, Peak View Elementary has been a place where children learn, grow, and belong. Our playgrounds have served generations of students, but they have now reached a point where replacement is needed. The new playground project will provide updated play spaces for our 500+ students, address drainage concerns, and add shaded areas where students can enjoy outdoor play.
Because current county budget constraints do not include funding for new playgrounds, this project will be made possible through the generosity of our families, local businesses, community organizations, and friends of Peak View.
Our Goal
The preliminary project goal is based on the best estimates currently available, with final costs subject to updated quotes. The campaign is currently working toward raising the funds needed for:
New playground equipment
Two shade structures
Drainage improvements
Site preparation
Mulch
Freight and installation
Thanks to generous commitments already received, $118,183 has been committed toward the project, including a $43,244.50 GameTime matching grant. The campaign currently has $106,817 still needed to reach the anticipated project goal.
The PTO has set a November 20, 2026 funding deadline, with the goal of having the completed playground ready for students in Spring 2027.
Every Contribution Makes a Difference
We are incredibly grateful to the families, businesses, and community partners who have already stepped forward to support this project. Every donation—large or small—helps bring us closer to creating a playground where Peak View students can safely play, explore, imagine, and make memories for years to come.
Peak View Elementary PTO is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and anonymous donations are also gladly accepted.
If you would like to support the Playground Campaign, visit the Playground tab on the Peak View Elementary website for donation information, sponsorship opportunities, project details, and updates.
Together, we can build more than a playground—we can build a place where our students can play, grow, and belong for generations to come. 💙🦝
