Mr. Michael received a grant for a canvas thanks to funding from the Arts Council of the Valley.
Michael and Harrisonburg High School art teacher Jauan Brooks each received $800. Michael’s students at Peak View, Linville-Edom and Lacey Spring elementary schools will use grant money to work on a single canvas 5 feet tall and 15 feet long in a collaborative project. Peak View Just got a 3D printer. We are excited to start creating and printing things in 3D! Check out the pictures to see some of the things that we already printed. We will be make more things soon.
Peak View had its first stem night! We created a community, PEAKVILLE!
Each grade contributed to Peakville. the Kindergartners created the people. First grade created the houses. Second grade created agriculture. Third grade create various forms of transportation. Fourth grade created different land forms. Finally, Fifth grade created lots of recreational areas. Thanks to all the students, teachers, parents for helping make STEM night a success!
